MRI Interventions reported an increase in total revenue in its fourth quarter, and an improvement in net loss for the quarter and for 2018, citing record quarterly growth in its functional neurosurgery department.
Total revenue in the fourth quarter increased by 36% to $2.3 million, up from the $1.7 million earned in the same quarter in 2017. Net loss in the quarter decreased to $1.2 million, down from $2 million in the fourth quarter of the previous year.
For the year, total revenue was $7.35 million, slightly lower than the $7.38 million earned in 2017. Net loss fell to $6.2 million, down from $7.2 million in the previous year.
