Canon Medical Systems USA is now offering an upgrade program for its Vantage and Atlas MR systems.
The Encore Orian MR upgrade program allows customers to upgrade their Canon Vantage and Atlas MR systems to the digital software platform and hardware configurations of the company's Vantage Orian 1.5-tesla scanner. The upgrade includes the company's EasyTech software package, which features NeuroLine+ for brain MRI exams, SpineLine for spine MRI exams, and SureVOI Knee and KneeLine+ for knee alignment.
The upgrade program additionally comes with a new detachable, dockable table option that allows for imaging preparation outside of the scanning suite, as well as a digital gantry interface that displays relevant patient and coil information.
In essence, the program provides existing customers with access to the company's latest diagnostic technology and extends the value of their current MR systems without the costs of a new installation, the company said.
