Promaxo taps new medical advisors

Medical imaging, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI) technology firm Promaxo has named two new medical advisors to its board.

Dr. Senthil Nathan of the Royal Free Hospital in London is a robotic surgery expert, while Dr. Clare Tempany of Harvard Medical School and Brigham Health in Boston is an expert in prostate cancer MRI and image-guided interventions.

Promaxo is currently developing a portable MRI device that combines robotics and AI, it said.
