MRI technology firm SpinTech Imaging has acquired medical imaging research and technology developer Magnetic Resonance Innovations (MR Innovations).
The purchase adds a team of engineers and physicists to SpinTech's roster, as well as 10 patents and a network of more than 50 collaborators around the world. The two firms have worked together previously, in particular, to develop a standardized MRI software program for artificial intelligence-assisted MRI.
Going forward, SpinTech Imaging will now be known as SpinTech MRI, it said.
