ClearPoint Neuro has signed an agreement with D&K Engineering to develop a robotic system for the MRI suite and operating room.
The collaboration is part of ClearPoint's strategy to make neurosurgery procedures shorter and more consistent across clinical sites, it said. Its ClearPoint Neuro Navigation system is installed in more than 60 sites in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
The company expects the first clinical use of the system developed with D&K in 2023, it said.
