Varian to supply VA with radiotherapy units

Varian Medical Systems has signed a renewable contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to be one of its radiotherapy systems providers. Under the terms of the agreement, Palo Alto, CA-based Varian will offer VA medical centers access to its line of radiation therapy equipment and software. The VA spends between $2 million and $10 million annually on radiation oncology equipment, according to Varian.
