The Health Care Products (HCP) division of Marconi Medical Systems has signed a one-year agreement to distribute Rockville, MD-based Deus Technologies' RapidScreen RS-2000 computer-aided detection system. RS-2000, which has received Food and Drug Administration clearance, digitizes and analyzes chest x-rays to identify regions of interest that may have features associated with early-stage lung cancer, according to Cleveland-based Marconi HCP. Marconi HCP expects the agreement to result in a multimillion dollar sales gain.
