Designed to accommodate ultrasound and fluoroscopic guidance, the 54-inch long radiolucent area enables full fluoroscopic visualization and unrestricted C-arm positioning, according to the Shirley, NY-based vendor. Fluoroscopic tubes can be placed beneath the table, reducing radiation exposure to the clinician and allowing for expanded versatility, according to Biodex. The table also comes with a built-in removable cassette tray and grid.
A 31-inch long radiolucent extension allows for brachytherapy for lung patients, and converts the table into a general purpose C-arm table for vascular and cardiac applications, according to Biodex. By adding dedicated accessory attachments, the table can also accommodate urology procedures, according to the vendor.
With Brachtherapy Table, motorized controls adjust height, position the four-way tabletop, and allow for Trendelenburg motions and lateral roll ± 20°. The Fowler Back is manually adjusted to 80°.
