The Cedara Software unit of Merge Healthcare will unveil a new work-in-progress, OncologyWorks, at the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) conference in Denver next week.
OncologyWorks will provide more efficient, easy-to-use tools to evaluate tumor development over multiple time points on multiple imaging devices in therapeutic assessment, according to Mississauga, Ontario-based Cedara.
Applications scheduled for demonstration include functional components designed to assist with therapy planning and response assessment through PET/CT fusion, MR-based functional diffusion mapping, tracking quantitative tumor measurements over time, advanced segmentation, and Web-enabled follow-up management for patients, the company said.
