Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems has signed a 31-year contract to provide radiotherapy services to Oxford Churchill Hospital in the U.K., which is scheduled to open a new oncology center in 2008.
As part of an initial $13 million order, Varian will equip the new center with six of its Clinac linear accelerators and a full suite of its information management and treatment planning software.
The Palo Alto, CA-based firm said it has teamed with Impregilo SPA of Italy to provide radiotherapy services at the facility.
