Multimodality developer Philips Medical Systems of Andover, MA, reported that Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis has selected its AcQSim(3) and Pinnacle(3) systems for cancer treatment planning and tumor targeting.
The installation of the Pinnacle(3) system provides the facility's Siteman Cancer Center with new radiation therapy planning technology, and the AcQSim(3) workstation, which integrates CT Simulation tools into the Pinnacle(3) treatment planning system, eliminates the need for network transfers, Philips said.
