Swedish radiation therapy vendor Elekta said that the Ottawa Hospital Regional Cancer Centre, which serves patients in Ottawa and eastern Ontario, Canada, will install two of its Synergy systems this summer.
The Stockholm-based vendor said that the image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) systems were procured under a new four-year purchase agreement with Cancer Care Ontario, an agency that advises the Ontario government on all aspects of cancer care.
