Sales of its CyberKnife system buoyed revenues for radiosurgery firm Accuray of Sunnyvale, CA, in its fiscal third quarter (end-March 31).
Revenues increased to $37.3 million, compared with $16.3 million in the same quarter of the last fiscal year. Accuray also posted net income of $118,000, compared with a net loss of $7.7 million in the same quarter a year ago.
For the nine-month period, revenues rose to $96.5 million, compared with $31.5 million for the same period in fiscal year 2006. The net loss was $5.2 million, compared with a net loss of $25.8 million in the same period last year.
