Varian takes Tasmanian order

Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems will deliver image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) equipment to two oncology centers in Tasmania.

The facilities in Hobart and Launceston have ordered Varian Clinac iX linear accelerators equipped with On-Board Imager devices. The centers plan to launch IGRT programs early next year.
