Initia signs Royal Marsden Hospital

Radiation therapy firm Initia-RT has installed its TrackLeaf dynamic micro multileaf collimator (mMLC) at the Royal Marsden Hospital in the U.K.

TrackLeaf will be used on the institution's existing Elekta linear accelerators to provide additional functionality such as stereotactic radiosurgery, dynamic intensity-modulated radiotherapy (DIMRT), and intensity-modulated arc therapy (IMAT), according to the Tel Aviv, Israel-based company.
