Radiotherapy provider Nucletron is debuting its microSelectron Digital afterloader at this week's annual meeting of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) in Minneapolis.
The new afterloader offers six-, 18-, and 30-channel systems, allowing users to treat from one to 90 channels, according to the Veenendaal, Netherlands-based firm. It also eliminates the time required to reconnect transfer tubes when treating a larger site, connects to existing Nucletron brachytherapy applicators and consumables, and includes simulation software, Nucletron said.
