Philips Medical Systems of Andover, MA, is showcasing two new radiation oncology treatment products this week at the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) meeting in Minneapolis.
The recently released, upgraded Pinnacle3 System 810 is approximately three to five times faster than previous platforms and is designed to run with the Pinnacle3 Workstation version 8.0h. It also is available for earlier Pinnacle3 versions. The System 810 began shipping last month.
In addition, work-in-progress Pinnacle3 Web Publishing software allows radiation oncology plans to be reviewed and approved from anywhere in the world through a secure Internet connection.
