HCA buys 7th CyberKnife

Radiotherapy firm Accuray of Sunnyvale, CA, has received an order from Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) for a CyberKnife robotic radiosurgery system.

The CyberKnife is the seventh one purchased by HCA from Accuray, and the first such device for HCA's Harley Street Clinic in London, U.K.

Currently, CyberKnife systems are installed in six HCA locations, which include four in Florida and one each in Kansas and Texas.
