Radiation therapy firm TomoTherapy of Madison, WI, has formed a partnership with Elekta subsidiary Medical Intelligence aimed at improving the stereotactic radiosurgery capabilities of TomoTherapy's Hi-Art treatment system.
The firms are jointly previewing the first product to be developed under the partnership, a work-in-progress head frame fixation and repositioning device, at this week's annual meeting of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) in Los Angeles.
