Biometric and security products firm Titanium Group of San Jose, CA, has signed a letter of intent to acquire China Medical Systems, a developer of virtual endoscopy and radiation therapy planning software.
Titanium executives said the deal would allow the company to enter the healthcare field in China, which Titanium has identified as an important target market due to healthcare reform efforts in the country. China Medical Systems had revenues of $2.2 million in 2006 and is profitable.
The company's major products include Virtual Endoscopy and 3D Virtual Radiotherapy
Planning System.
