Radiation oncology firm Nucletron of Veenendaal, Netherlands, has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its volume-based treatment planning software.
Oncentra Brachy is DICOM-compatible and features optimization algorithms to shorten brachytherapy planning time. The software also offers 3D contouring and margining tools to identify regions of interest on CT or in multimodality imaging environments using image registration for CT, MR, and PET data.
