Ultrasound and radiotherapy products provider CIVCO Medical Solutions of Kalona, IA, has introduced a new patient head support for diagnostic and radiation therapy procedures.
The product, called Individual Head Support, uses specially shaped impression foam combined with fabric-coated thermoplastic to help clinicians position patients. The flexibility of the heated thermoplastic allows molding of the impression foam to the individual patient's anatomy, according to the company.
