Intraop takes China order

Intraoperative radiation therapy firm Intraop Medical of Sunnyvale, CA, has received an order for its Mobetron device from Shanghai Ruijin Hospital in China.

The mobile system is designed to deliver intraoperative electron-beam radiation therapy (IOERT) to a tumor during cancer surgery.

Shanghai Ruijin plans to use the Mobetron to treat several types of cancer, including breast, colorectal, sarcoma, and lung cancers.
