Cianna receives $10 million in funding

Brachytherapy firm Cianna Medical of Aliso Viejo, CA, recently received more than $10 million in funding to advance the commercialization of its proprietary SAVI technology for breast cancer brachytherapy.

The SAVI applicator provides a shortened course of high-dose radiation therapy for early-stage breast cancer patients following lumpectomy surgery.
