Crane named RTOG committee chair

The American College of Radiology (ACR) has named Christopher H. Crane, MD, from the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, as chair of the Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancer Committee for the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG).

Crane is a professor in the department of radiation oncology at M. D. Anderson, where he also serves as residency program director and section chief of the GI section.

Philadelphia-based RTOG is a U.S. National Cancer Institute-funded international clinical trials group administered by the ACR.
