Elekta brings VMAT to India

Oncology firm Elekta said that Medanta Cancer Institute in New Delhi is the first institution in India to utilize its volumetric-modulated arc therapy (VMAT) technology.

The Stockholm, Sweden-based vendor installed its Infinity linear accelerator with VMAT at the site.
