Orbital Therapy receives grant

Breast cancer treatment products developer Orbital Therapy of Bedford, MA, has been awarded a $244,000 grant for its breast cancer research project as part of the U.S. government's Therapeutic Discovery Project.

The company has developed and tested a self-shielded radiation therapy device for breast cancer treatment. The technology integrates the shielding directly into the design of the machine and eliminates the need for a bunker.
