Varian receives 1st GammaMed order in China

Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems has signed its first customer in China for its GammaMed brachytherapy afterloader.

Jilin University No. 1 Hospital installed GammaMed in mid-February and will soon begin offering treatment using the new equipment, Varian said.
