Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems has received clearance to market its TrueBeam system for image-guided radiation therapy in China.
China's State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) has approved the system for tumor treatment.
Varian first introduced TrueBeam in the U.S. a year ago this month. It is currently used at more than 40 treatment centers across the U.S. and Europe to target tumors of the lung, liver, pancreas, head and neck, and other organs.
