Cancer network names new CEO

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), a not-for-profit alliance of 21 U.S. cancer treatment centers, has appointed Dr. Robert Carlson as its new CEO.

Carlson had been medical director of inpatient oncology and hematology at Stanford Cancer Institute and was professor of medicine in Stanford University's division of oncology and medical informatics. He has held leadership roles in NCCN since its founding in 1995.
