Interventional oncology technology developer Intio has introduced SyncView, a software feature that allows interventional oncologists to view a segmented target lesion during CT-guided ablation procedures in conjunction with the post-treatment ablation zone.
Available with Intio's ClearStart SVM (Segmentation and Volumetric Measurement) system, SyncView provides improved visualization of the target tumor with probes in place and enables tumor margins to be determined in 3D at the end of the ablation procedure, President and CEO Morgan Nields said in a statement.
ClearStart SVM has been installed at more than a dozen major cancer centers in the U.S., and deliveries of SyncView are expected to begin in February, according to the vendor.
