Radiation oncology firm Radiation Therapy Services Holdings has completed its acquisition of OnCure Holdings for approximately $125 million.
Terms of the deal include $42.5 million in cash and up to $82.5 million in assumed debt, of which $7.5 million will be released pending achievement of minimum profit levels, Radiation Therapy said.
The sale increases the number of Radiation Therapy's centers by more than 25% and yields cost efficiencies based on expected savings in infrastructure. The deal adds 11 physician groups and 33 radiation treatment centers in strategically attractive markets, the company said.
