North Shore-LIJ opens new rad therapy facility

The North Shore-LIJ Cancer Institute has opened a $47 million, 30,000-sq-ft radiation therapy facility in Lake Success, NY.

The institution's department of radiation medicine has relocated from New Hyde Park, NY, to the health system's Center for Advanced Medicine, an outpatient care complex in Lake Success that is home to the North Shore-LIJ Cancer Institute.
