Women's health firm Advanced Radiation Therapy (ART) has completed the installation of its AccuBoost brachytherapy system at Florida Cancer Center-Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, FL.
AccuBoost provides a mammography-guided noninvasive brachytherapy procedure for patients with early-stage breast cancer.
The procedure may be used as a boost to the tumor bed or as a monotherapy option for accelerated partial-breast irradiation, according to the company.
