Women's health firm AccuBoost has landed installations of its breast brachytherapy technology at several new customer sites.
In Texas, AccuBoost signed on a second center in the Austin Cancer Centers network, installing its technology at the company's MLK facility. The first patient treatments were completed there the week of October 2.
In Arizona, the company signed a contract with Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona to install AccuBoost at its center in Sedona. Treatments began in October.
In other AccuBoost news, the company highlighted results presented at the recent American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) meeting from the Brown University Oncology Group's BrUOG 291 clinical trial. In a follow-up, the technology achieved 100% "good" or "excellent" ratings for cosmesis.
