AirXpanders has appointed Frank Grillo as its new president and CEO.
Grillo previously served at Boston Scientific and also at Kyphon, where he helped complete the sale of that company to Medtronic in 2007 for $4.2 billion. He has also held executive stints at Intuitive Surgical and MRI Interventions, AirXpanders said.
He started his tenure in the new position on June 12.
