3D-printed medical device manufacturer Adaptiiv has released the latest version of its medical software, 3D Bolus 2.0, for 3D printing patient-specific radiotherapy boluses based on CT scans.
The new software includes features such as customized cleaving of boluses and applicators, automated 3D printing of dosimeters directly within the bolus and applicator, and algorithms for reducing infrared hot spots on images as well as for improving the generation of catheter trajectories.
