Radiation therapy software developer RaySearch has released a new version of its RayCare 2C oncology information system (OIS) and has received a new contract.
The upgraded RayCare 2C software enhances workflow and task management capabilities, such as by linking order management and workflow. It includes order management features designed to enable physicians to automatically trigger workflow and automated actions within the OIS when placing an order.
RayCare's patient chart also offers clinical trial management tools for patient overview, with indicators for recruiting. The new patient chart also displays basic patient core information, such as pulse, blood pressure and weight, and test results.
Finally, Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont in Montreal has chosen RayStation for use with the facility's existing Elekta linear accelerators, CT simulators, and MRI and PET/CT systems for therapy simulation and planning.
