The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) in London is calling for public votes in its annual Science and Medical Imaging competition.
The competition, which recognizes the best image produced from cancer research conducted by the ICR and its partner The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, has been winnowed down to a shortlist of six contenders. The six candidates cover a range of cancer research fields and various scientific techniques, including mouse xenografts, tumor spheroids, and immunohistochemistry staining, according to the ICR.
The winning image will be chosen by a panel of judges from the ICR and Royal Marsden, while the favorite image will be selected by the public. Votes can be cast over the next two weeks on the ICR's website.
