Philips Medical Systems subsidiary ATL Ultrasound announced several management changes in a bid to enhance its cardiac sales efforts. Vice president of North American sales Bob Dockendorff has assumed responsibility for the U.S. cardiology sales organization. At the same time, U.S. cardiology sales vice president William Doherty has been promoted to vice president of global cardiology business development. Doherty's post will be filled by Allan Criss, who most recently served as director of eastern U.S. sales for the firm. Criss will report directly to Dockendorff.
In recent months ATL has introduced several product upgrades, including Real-time Perfusion Imaging, a technology that has the potential to assist in the evaluation of cardiac small vessel circulation, according to the company.
