MedTech acquires ATL’s imaging supplies business

Boulder, CO-based medical products and services company Colorado MedTech said it has acquired the assets of the ultrasound supplies group of ATL Ultrasound.

MedTech plans to sell ultrasound consumables such as print media, covers and drapes, and transmission gels to complement the ultrasound accessories business of its Kalona, IA-based CIVCO Medical Instruments subsidiary.

Colorado MedTech said it paid approximately $4.3 million (U.S.) cash for the ATL assets. The deal also includes a five-year exclusive agreement to develop accessories for Bothell, WA-based ATL.
