B-K Medical of Copenhagen, Denmark, has added a multipurpose ultrasound scanner to its product line. The Hawk 2102 XDI features a digital-hybrid beamformer that permits frequencies up to 20 MHz, true echo harmonics, split-screen capabilities, and a 14-inch monitor. The company, a subsidiary of Peabody, MA-based Analogic, is also offering a remote control unit for the product that duplicates most input and output functions.
