Diffractive-ultrasound technology developer Advanced Diagnostic has changed its name to Advanced Imaging Technologies. The Preston, WA-based vendor said it made the switch to reflect its vision to also deploy diffractive ultrasound as an imaging modality for instrument guidance and treatment planning. Diagnostic applications will remain the firm's key focus, however, said chairman and CEO Denis O'Connor.
