Analogic ultrasound subsidiary B-K Medical has released Type 8811, a high-frequency transducer designed for scanning of breast and superficial muscular and skeletal structures. Type 8811 provides multiple scanning frequencies up to 12 MHz, and also includes B-K Medical's True Echo Harmonics technique for hard-to-scan patients.
In addition, Type 8811 includes dynamically variable Doppler frequency, which aids in peripheral vascular screening, according to Copenhagen, Denmark-based B-K Medical. The transducer is available now.
