Philips Medical Systems of Andover, MA, is introducing ultrasound quantification software, called QLAB, that the company says will provide more-objective data analysis. The software can run on both of the company’s main ultrasound platforms, the Sonos and HDI product lines.
QLAB enables users to quantify ultrasound data offline and assess image content, such as intima media thickness of the carotid and other superficial arteries. It also supports the creation of images in standard file formats for PC-based presentations.
