U.S. Medical Systems has ordered 10 Longport portable ultrasound scanners for a variety of applications, according to Longport, of Swarthmore, PA. Longport markets a portable laptop 20 MHz ultrasound unit for skin and soft connective tissue for assessment at a microscopic level.
