EDAP extends Japanese presence, names Laronze as VP

EDAP TMS, a manufacturer of high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) devices, has expanded its presence in Asia with the opening of a new office in Sapporo, Japan.

The firm has named Julien Laronze as a vice president within the company's Japanese subsidiary, according to EDAP of Vaulx-en-Velin, France. In his new role, he will assist with the approval process for new product lines, the company said.
