Ultrasound device developer CIVCO Medical Solutions has launched a newly redesigned bracket compatible with the S317 transducers on the GE Healthcare Logiq 500 and Logiq 200 ultrasound systems.
The bracket offers a more secure fit onto the transducer, providing added safety and accuracy for imaging professionals, according to the Kalona, IA-based firm. The multiangle bracket features biopsy depths of 4, 6, and 8 cm, utilizing a two-part system consisting of a reusable biopsy bracket and a disposable snap-on Ultra-Pro II needle guide.
The guide also features a larger funnel for instrument insertion and will accept a full range of sizes including 8.5 FR, 14-18 GA, and 20-23 GA, the company said.
