Biosound Esaote launches anesthesiology scanner

Biosound Esaote of Indianapolis has debuted MyLab 30 OR, a compact ultrasound scanner designed for use by anesthesiologists.

The scanner is designed to support a wide range of applications, including transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and imaging of nerves and vessels. The system weighs less than 20 lb and includes 512-channel architecture, multifrequency transducers from 2.5-15 MHz, cardiac calculations software, and various Doppler modes.

MyLab 30 OR is distributed exclusively in the U.S. by FineTek, a distributor that focuses on anesthesiology products.
