GE enables VIP ultrasound at Emory Clinic

Multimodality vendor GE Healthcare has deployed its volume imaging protocol (VIP) ultrasound service at Emory Clinic in Atlanta.

The VIP product enables radiologists to virtually rescan a patient by manipulating the raw data with proprietary protocols and in a 3D planar view, according to the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based GE.
